There are so many different ways to doodle and there is no right or wrong. You get to let your imagination run wild!

How Do You Draw a Simple Doodle?
If you’re new to drawing doodles, no worries. You’re in the right place!
Simply begin by grabbing your art journal or a blank piece of paper. I find it helpful to first do my doodles in pencil and then go over them again with a black pen or black marker especially when I was beginning.
I think it’s best to work with everyday simple shapes or patterns. These are typically easy things to draw.
Once you master simple shapes, you can branch out to more advanced doodle ideas.

1. Watermelon
Watermelons are fun to doodle. They are made up of basic shapes. Consider doodling a watermelon with a bite taken out of the top!
2. Clapperboard

You can include special details like the production, date, and scene on the clapper board for the specific sketch you’re working on.
